Meet the Teachers

LINDA NATERA

Linda was born in Veracruz, México, a coastal city, where from a very young age she learned to appreciate nature, culture, and the deep bonds that unite family and community. During her 200 hour training, she noticed that there were no spaces that were inclusive and accessible for communities like the one she grew up in, and quickly realized the impact that Yoga could have in her community.

Linda decided to make it official and start a small nonprofit during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Sana Yoga provides a pathway for healing that is equitable and accessible throughout Austin ,TX. Sana Yoga cooperates with other organizations in order to reduce systemic factors that negatively impact mental health, physical health, and social well being amongst our LatinX community and other marginalized communities.

Linda is a certified  RYT-200 yoga instructor licensed through Yoga Alliance  and Mindful Grieving 200 hour Yoga Training and is an Ayurvedic counselor. Linda’s favorite things to do are spending time with her family and her pets.
