Seasonal Kit Collection & Assembly for SAFE Austin

Join the Satya crew to assemble seasonal kits for SAFE Austin. We'll enjoy a potluck while spending time with members of our community doing something toward collective action.

Donation collection will be ongoing at the studio, prior to this assembly session. Give if you can or join us for time gathering items together and sharing a potluck.

Below is PDF with a list of ongoing needs with separate items that we will continue collecting and contributing to this organization throughout the year.

This season we are gathering items the following kits. We will update what is collected along the way, so we don’t end up with too much of one item.

Queen Bedding Kit (Signed up for 2 kits)
2 Queen Bed pillows (like this)
Queen size bed in a bag OR a queen size sheet set with queen size comforter

Kitchen Kit (Signed up for 5 kits)
1 set of silverware for four (like this)
1 set of microwave safe plastic plates and bowls for four (like this)
1 set of reusable plastic cups (like this)
1 can opener (safe cut or smooth edge) (like this)

Dining Kit (Signed up for 5 kits)
(1) 3-4 qt large pot (like this)
(1) 1-2 qt small pot (like this)
1 frying pan (like this)
1 set of cooking utensils (spatula, ladle, etc.) (like this)
1 baking sheet or pan (like this)
1 set of measuring cups or spoons (like this)
