Growing Together

Hello everyone,

We hope this finds you emerging from your winter cocoon, into this bright, fragrant moment of Spring that's happening (at least in Austin). With this emerging, many new opportunities for growth continue to unfurl.

There is a saying in the permaculture world that when you plant a new fruit tree, you give a year to root, a year to shoot, and a year to fruit. Considering this timeline, we feel quite in the flow with the studio's growth. So much has happened over the last two years – many things set in place that were not visible on the surface. To now hear from so many that they feel welcome and supported, are impressed by our teachers' depth of wisdom and skill, and have found their yoga home speaks to the intentional roots we planted at the beginning. Finding our foundations prior to taking action is vital, and the blossoms of this rich community are a testament to the strength and nurturing of those initial roots of intention.

Some opportunities for growth arrived recently as classes have gotten busier – especially on the weekends. We've been able to open new lines of communication with our retail neighbors, as well as our residential neighbors. On Saturday mornings we now have permission to park at Girlstart, just a few steps West on Anderson where there are plenty of spots available. This ensures that clientele for our next door businesses also have places to park during their busiest time. Just grab a parking pass from us prior to class (yours to keep & use each Saturday, if you're a regular attendee).

We've also come up with a new incentive to help the studio, and the environment: a bike stamp card! Ride your bike 10 times within 6 months, and you'll receive a Satya shirt or enrollment for a workshop of your choice. Get some fresh air, a different perspective, and extra movement – plus some sweet incentives from your yoga sanctuary.
