Let’s Talk About Death

with Teresa Ritter
Saturday, July 26th • 2-4:00pm
In-Person Only • Donation-Based

We all are born, we journey, and we will all die. Are you curious about what needs to be in place before you or a loved one dies? Have you thought about your end of life wishes and death care?  What about having conversations with your loved ones about death and dying?

Join and learn what needs to be prepared and organized for the End of Life with Teresa.

She will go over a check list of items that need to be complete so the family isn't left trying to figure out a loved one’s estate while grieving, including defining terms that are often mystifying. Students will continue with a discussion about End of Life wishes and care as a person is dying. She will also bring up suggestions about how to bring up the conversation with loved ones.

Talking about death is and can be heavy, but also can bring moments of laughter and joy. Together, we will start setting the stage of preparing for death by defining terms, asking questions, and sharing experiences in a supportive community.

Come ready to share, discuss, laugh, ask questions and move a little bit.  Bring paper or journal and pen.

The quote “It is not the length of life, but the depth of life,”  by Ralph Waldo Emerson invites us to reflect on the true measure of a fulfilling existence.
