Summer Greenless
Summer Greenlees is a seasoned Yoga teacher with over 28years of experience. Her work is strongly influenced by her practice as a massage therapist, Watsu practitioner (bodywork in water), and her extensive experience as a doula supporting mothers in their pregnancy and birthing journeys.
As a professional massage therapist and yoga teacher, Summer has completed thousands of hours of study and many certification programs including Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Functional Yoga Therapy Certifications. She is continuously studying and learning in the fields of Developmental Movement Repatterning, Embodied Anatomy Studies, Somatic Yoga, Energetic Anatomy, and Nrityoga (a lineage of practice tracing back to India’s first sacred temple dancers).
Summer’s classes are not just about physical exercise; they are about harmonizing mind, body, and spirit and nurturing one's relationship with oneself. She offers a personalized approach, helping her students to develop skills to practice movements safely and mindfully. Her goal is for each student to feel refreshed, grounded, and rejuvenated, as if they have just experienced a gentle, full-body therapeutic massage.
Summer maintains her licence and offers massage therapy services, Private Yoga Therapy, and small group cohort classes.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Summer is home in the Hill Country. She is truly blessed to be the mother of her children, ages 30, 20, and 13.
Testimonial
“Summer Greenlees is one of those exceptionally sensitive people whose presence is quiet yet powerful. She meets people where they are and gently guides them into a more balanced connection with their bodies and with themselves. I treasure her assistance in my programs.”
